Card reader structure and function

Magnetic card read/write device consists of the following parts.

(1) magnetic card transport organization

The group consists of motor, belt, roller group.

The motor is 24 v dc motor. Under the control of the card reader motherboard, drive roller belt group make magnetic card transfer of magnetic card constant speed move forward or backward.

(2) import organization

Import block, shutter door, contains the imported gear motor of the door.

Its function to avoid foreign body into the reading position. At the entrance of a card reader has blocked the door, blocking the door after motor is connected to a block in front of sensor. When sensors have a card into the channel, make the door open and closed.

(3) sensors

The building contains three physical equipment: open the door to proofread head, blocked the door sensors, magnetic card bearing detection sensor. The card reader read three other sensors and a block the door sensors, proofread the head. To block the door sensors to detect the card to enter, block, shutter door will open at the moment. Three other sensor S0, S2, S4 respectively. S0 located read the front of the transmission channel and used to detect whether magnetic card into the transmission channels; S2 is located to blaspheme in the middle of the card machine, used to detect whether magnetic card in read/write head orientation; S4 is located at the back of the card reader, used to detect whether magnetic card back into the card in the box or magnetic CARDS in a card reader orientation of channel. (4) read/write head,

Read/write head contains three functions: (1) read track 1; (2) to read, write track 2; (3) track 3 in reading and writing.
